An upstart woodworking company is creating and curating a unique retail concept in an old auto body shop on South Broad Street in Brevard.

3oak Handcrafted has opened a new retail location inside the 5,000-square-foot reimagined and redesigned old auto body shop. It features a highly curated home store, top-of-the-line wood shop, coffee and beer tap, and showroom with handcrafted furniture, wood art, textiles, ceramics and raw wood products the public may select.

The wood shop in the retail location is still under construction but will be designed to allow people to see furniture being made through a large window similar to an open kitchen in a restaurant. The wood shop will also feature a vacuum kiln, slab flattening, jointer and planer, allowing people to tour the manufacturing process.

3oak's goal is to create a destination in Brevard, with exceptional products and services, a great place to work, invest in the community, and have a brand that represents quality and integrity.

"The heart and soul of 3oak is creating custom pieces of furniture for our clients," said Mike Burns, with 3oak. "There is a special connection made when we jointly go through the creation process, but it is even more special when we deliver the piece to its forever home. We strive for an heirloom quality that will last generations. We are makers pursuing art in everything we do."
